MVP | Product design

At the start of 2019, the Head of Enterprise Capability highlighted a problem; that the organisation currently didn’t have a way to quickly see what experience and expertise each of the facilitation-coaching staff could bring to a project.

The project

After several meetings to ascertain the core measures that would be used to capture each employee’s experience, I worked to create a low fidelity – and low cost – MVP to test with some early adopters from the coaching team.

Throughout the development, I worked to iterate based on the feedback from coaches and from the management team, and incorporated new fields (such as ‘Bi-cultural co-design’ and the different experience gained dependent on seniority levels) to create a working dashboard.

The methods

As a way to keep it low-cost and high-impact, I self-facilitated the project within the design sprint process, conducting:

  • Stakeholder interviews
  • User interviews
  • MVP build (using a combination of Google Sheets, Google Forms and determination)
  • User testing
  • MVP roll-out
